This role is focused on developing a highly progressive, holistic and supportive educational experience. ‘Designed for Boys’, Hereworth provides broad and pre-eminent cultural, sporting and service opportunities for its students. The position is also responsible for the astute management of the School’s day-to-day operations and the building of strong relationships with the wider Hereworth community, including parents, a supportive Old Boys’ network and the immediate locale.
Hereworth School is one of New Zealand’s leading independent primary boys’ schools. With an Anglican tradition it caters for boarding and day pupils from Years 0 to 8. Based in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay, the School has been educating boys in a challenging and inspiring environment for almost 100 years. A special character school, with a deep and caring culture, Hereworth is based on traditional values, founded on six ‘cornerstones’: Academic, Cultural, Spiritual, Social, Sport and Boarding.
