LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ACROSS MULTIPLE SITES

Our client, a leading Australasian manufacturer, needed a leadership development programme that was challenging, diverse and fun, but with an underlying pragmatism: it needed to incorporate the right competencies and behaviours into the heart of the business leadership. With management staff scattered across organisational functions and locations throughout Australasia, our client also needed a flexible and detailed approach that would meet the needs of everyone involved.

WHAT WE DID

Sheffield designed a Leadership Programme, which comprised four individually developed programmes for four levels of management.
Sheffield managed the complexity of this programme design and its tight timelines by working closely with our client's project team. Sheffield was responsible for all project documentation, including course design and layout, oversaw the project plan, and managed weekly project meetings with the client.

The project team worked closely with managers throughout the business to develop a body of case study material that tapped directly into the strategic and tactical priorities of the business.
Sheffield also helped the HR team implement a development planning programme focused on individual improvement in key competency areas.

OUTCOMES

Learning outcomes included enhanced leadership capability and self awareness of development needs, an increased awareness of the competencies required for success in the business, and an understanding of a range of management tools participants could use to enhance their performance.
