QMC is looking for a new organisational leader (CEO/GM) who will be inspiring, help set leadership and strategic direction and provide commercial guidance in order to fulfil QMC’s collective goal to support everyone towards better health. With a collaborative and creative approach and an eye for innovation, this role will balance the identification and facilitation of new business growth opportunities whilst also developing people/teams, increasing communication, effectively managing change, driving operational excellence and enhancing a cohesive and high performing values-based culture.
Established in 1970 and currently employing approx. 65 full and part-time staff, Queenstown Medical Centre (QMC) operates across three sites - Queenstown, Arrowtown and Frankton and is the largest integrated family health provider in the Wakatipu. Collectively owned by ten of its General Practitioners, QMC currently manages over 50,000 patient engagements and prides itself on providing quality healthcare and a patient-centric service. QMC also houses Queenstown’s 12-hour a day/365 days a year Accident & Medical Clinic and facilitates access to a broad range of complimentary health services and visiting private specialists.
To be successful, you will be tertiary qualified and possess proven senior leadership experience, ideally gained in a professional services/service oriented or healthcare related environment. Passionate about the community and making a difference, candidates will have exceptional communication, relationship management and influencing and negotiating skills together with a well-developed level of commercial acumen.
