Infinity Investment Group is a long-established, innovative and well-respected property investment and development group. Based in Wanaka, with a history of developing high quality, master planned community subdivisions and fully master planned towns, Infinity deliver excellence in their lifestyle developments across the South Island.
With a number of exciting new projects underway, Infinity are now seeking to appoint a Development Manager to join the senior team.
Working closely with the CEO, the role will assume end to end responsibility for construction and development projects, from initial evaluation and feasibility through to design, project management and delivery. The role will require well developed technical and commercial skills along with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders. A proactive approach and an agile and enquiring mind, actively managing risks and developing a range of practical solutions, is also required, whilst understanding the longer-term/wider reaching implications that may arise.
Candidates will ideally have a civil engineering background and a minimum of ten years experience in the property sector, including proven project feasibility and management experience through to delivery and sales/leasing. Alternatively, experience in planning, with an appropriate tertiary qualification, will be considered. Candidates will also possess a sound understanding of property related documentation with a good working knowledge of contract, resource management and construction standards. Driven to produce results with a customer-centric approach, strong commercial acumen is essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Regular travel will be required.
