Transport Services is an end-to-end business group that focuses on our transport system – from policy and planning, through design and delivery, to maintenance and operations. They have some of the most capable and motivated people in the industry providing a transport system that enhances the way New Zealanders live, travel, work, and connect.
Transport Services is changing, and a new operating model is being introduced to enable them to meet the growing demands on their transport system, better serve their regions and fully develop their multi-modal transport capability. Reporting to the General Manager, Transport Services, the National Manager, Multi-modal and Innovation will lead the planning of multi-modal transport innovation and system integration solutions for Waka Kotahi and local government. Candidates for this role will have multi-modal experience, having led in contexts of comparable complexity, with a demonstrated ability to turn strategy into tactical outcomes. Stakeholder engagement is vital: the appointee will be a credible and passionate leader, able to influence and partner with stakeholders from all walks of life.
