Reporting to the Directors, this newly developed role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join the senior leadership team, providing strategic guidance and ‘business know-how’ across all aspects of the commercial business. Responsibilities include leadership of the commercial/sales/project teams and improvement of commercial disciplines focussing on contract negotiations, project management, financial management and building excellent customer relationships, ensuring the smooth running and profitability of the commercial business.

The successful candidate will preferably be tertiary qualified, with a strong commercial understanding, several years of experience in a construction related sector and a track record of success in overseeing commercial projects from inception to completion.  Applicants will have demonstrated proficiency with client relationship management; improvement of commercial processes and disciplines; identifying and mitigating risk across the business; and the successful leadership and motivation of cross-functional teams. As such, this role requires great communication, teamwork, leadership and analytical skills as well as the ability to multitask with a strong focus on results.
