Antarctic Heritage Trust appoint GM Operations and Programmes

Sheffield was excited to partner again with Antarctic Heritage Trust in the appointment of Paddy Power to the newly created position of General Manager Operations and Programmes.

Paddy is from Antarctica NZ where he was the Planning and Delivery Manager working closely with the Trust, so will hit the ground running overseeing the conservation programmes in Antarctica.

As a key member of the Trust’s executive team, Paddy is responsible for all conservation programmes in Antarctica including the Ross Sea Heritage Restoration Project, as well as the Trust’s Inspiring Explorers programme for youth. In addition to this, he will be leading a broad team of specialists and managing all organisational activity, health & safety and risk across the Trust’s field and operations programmes.

We wish Paddy all the very best in his new role as he helps the Trust to succeed in its vision of conserving the remarkable expedition bases of early Antarctic Explorers, as well as continuing to encourage the spirit of exploration, inspiring a new generation of young explorers.
