Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Risk Manager will partner with the Executive Team to plan for, identify and mitigate risks connected with potential operational, financial, reputational, legal or regulatory risk for the Council. This role will lead the implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework and strengthen risk management capability across the organisation.
This role requires an ability to collaborate broadly with a range of internal stakeholders, leading by influence rather than via formal reporting lines. A commitment to continual risk assessment, relevant policy development and the provision of expert advice will ensure the position delivers a ‘best practice’ approach to risk management across PNCC.
