Reporting to the General Manager Culture and People and leading a small team, this senior specialist role will work with the organisation and its leaders to continually develop and embed the safety and wellbeing strategy and framework. With solid foundations already in place and a highly engaged and committed SLT/Board, you will continue to influence and drive a culture of wellbeing and safety that ensures effective management of fundamental risks, visible leadership, simplified systems and ownership across the organisation.

Candidates of interest will have a deep understanding of, and passion for, Safety-II and Wellbeing practices, will have successfully led cultural change in complex/high-risk environments, and likely have a background in agriculture, manufacturing or the heavy industry sector. With staff engaged in a range of roles, at various sites, across the spread of the country, you will be a collaborative and practical person with strong implementation skills, and the ability to navigate easily across Board, executive and operational levels.  You will possess the credibility, communication skills and strength of character to engage the support of managers, creating ownership of, and alignment with, the strategic plan.
