Alliance Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Human Resources practitioner to join the HR team as Regional Human Resources Manager.  This autonomous role will provide HR leadership and support to two of our plants (Pukeuri and Smithfield) in the South Island.  You will be responsible for delivering the people strategy in the region, working with plant management teams to drive plant performance through great people and leadership practices, build capability and support leaders to manage employment and industrial relations conversations with a good faith and solution orientated mindset.  This position reports into the Group Manager Human Resources and will work closely with Plant Managers to form trusted business partnering relationships.

The successful candidate will ideally be based at either our Pukeuri or Smithfield plant. Applicants who wish to be based at our Christchurch office will also be considered.  Regular travel to each plant will be required.

Your days will be filled with variety and your location will offer a combination of working in the office or putting on your PPE and gumboots to walk the floors and get to know the people and business.  Bringing a pragmatic and grounded approach to all that you do, together with your HR experience ideally obtained in a manufacturing or large industrial site will set you up for success.  Critical to success is your passion for NZ farmers as well as the ability to develop strong business partner relationships with plant management in the region, to deliver great people and business outcomes.  You will have extensive experience across the whole range of HR business functions with a particular focus on workforce planning, employment relations, culture and change leadership.
