About the Role

Our client is a large, complex organisation based in Hamilton. Supporting the local community, it is growing as the City grows and offers excellent opportunities to further your career in a meaningful and rewarding way.

This role of Head of Communication and Engagement, reports to the General Manager of Strategy and Communication and will see you lead a large team of communication specialists. The main areas that you will have responsibility for include:

  • Develop and maintain the organisational communication and engagement strategy;
  • Deliver best practice consultation and engagement activity that creates stronger connections between key stakeholders;
  • Coach, mentor and develop your team;
  • Manage all media activity and media relationships;
  • Lead and deliver a programme of events.

 

Skills and Experience
