Richard is the former Chief Executive at Hamilton City Council leading the organisation through a significant period of growth and transformation and most recently was interim CE at Hawke’s Bay Regional Economic Development Agency.

Having previously lived in Dunedin when working for Audit New Zealand, Richard is genuinely looking forward to returning south. He has spent a significant portion of his career in local government and is genuinely passionate about the sector.
