Congratulations to Simon Pickford who has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer with Buller District Council. Sheffield South Island thoroughly enjoyed partnering with the Council again to work on this appointment.
Simon comes to Buller District Council with 20 years’ experience in senior roles across the local government sector. Most recently as General Manager of Community Services at Dunedin City Council, where he delivered on successful projects including Mosgiel’s new aquatic facility, Te Puna o Whakaehu and more recently, Dunedin’s successful hosting of the FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament.
