Sophie, who is based in Auckland brings more than 15 years’ experience in the financial sector. She has strong commercial acumen, proven stakeholder management skills and experience across diverse sectors. Sophie is a Chartered Accountant and recently has been a Future Director on the NZX Board.

Having grown up in Rotorua, Sophie has a strong affinity with community focused organisations and understands how the Lines Company supports local rural communities. Sophie is intrigued by the current energy sector challenges, including decarbonisation, network investment, and balancing affordability for customers.
