We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Kirsty Falzon has been appointed as the new Director of Boarding for Christchurch Girls High School, starting July 28th, 2025.
Kirsty brings a wealth of experience to this role, having worked extensively in boarding schools in both the UK and Japan. Her expertise encompasses effective house management, strong team leadership, and a profound commitment to the health and wellbeing of young people. With a degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Kirsty's pastoral care skills are exceptional.
Returning home to New Zealand from Japan, Kirsty is particularly keen to build connections with our students, parents, and whānau. Her proven track record in student wellbeing will be a tremendous asset to our boarding community, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for everyone.
Kirsty's genuine passion for education and boarding will undoubtedly enrich the school environment and positively impact the lives of the akonga.
