During his career Brett has held a number of senior positions focused on operational delivery, regulatory implementation, strategic policy and planning, and people centric service delivery in both central and local government organisations. He is proud of his success in leading groups through comprehensive change, focusing on a collaborative approach to delivery and the development of trust-based cultures that empower individuals to make good outcome focused decisions.  

Brett is excited by the opportunity that this role presents as the next step in his career, as well as his return to Environment Canterbury and a sector that he is passionate about.
