Amy is currently the Director Strategy in the Government Chief Digital Office at Department of Internal Affairs, leading AI across the public sector as well as digital public infrastructure and investment and co-leading the Service Modernisation Roadmap among other things. She was previously a Deputy Chief Executive in DIA and MSD as well as holding senior roles at the Treasury, the Public Service Commission, MBIE and MPI specialising in strategy, transformation, governance and public sector financial management.

Amy is a Public Service Leadership Centre Fellow with stints at Harvard and Stanford. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and a Bachelor of Science from Otago as well as an MBA from Victoria.
