Sarah Bartlett joined the Commission in 2023. She has held different roles at the Commission, most recently as Acting General Manager, Office of the Board and Chief Executive. Prior to that she was Director Credit in the Competition, Fair Trading and Credit branch.
Sarah has extensive legal, regulatory and banking experience. Before joining the Commission, she spent 14 years at Bank of New Zealand, where she was Head of Legal before moving into general management roles leading conduct and third-party insurance. Earlier in her career she worked in private practice in New Zealand and the UK.
