Chris started his career with ECNZ and has spent the last 27 years with Meridian Energy in Wellington working in a variety of roles across their generation, transmission energy trading, strategic projects including six years part of the executive team.

Chris is actively involved in the industry as an appointed member of the Electricity Authority’s Security and Reliability Council as well as being an Executive Committee member of the Electricity Engineers Association.

With 3 decades in the electricity industry, strong leadership capability, along with strong technical and commercial experience, Chris will be an excellent addition to the executive leadership team at Electra.
