Grant is an experienced private and public sector governor with a strong background in infrastructure governance, and a proven track record of project delivery. Grant is a current Director of Transwaste Canterbury and also an Independent Chair of Central Plains Water Limited, the largest irrigation company in New Zealand.  He is completing his fourth term as an elected member of Local Government with Selwyn District Council.
