Patrick Rooney announced as a member of the 2024 AESC Council of Asia Pacific

As the only New Zealand-based member of the Asia Pacific Council, Patrick will be part of sharing emerging best practice for the profession and upholding the highest quality standards in executive search and leadership consulting.

Patrick says “I’m pleased to join the AESC APAC regional council. The council’s dedication to professional standards and ethics is important, especially as the executive search profession has relatively low barriers to entry. The AESC is committed to excellence—a commitment that Sheffield also shares.”

Patrick was also appointed to the regional AESC Nominations and Governance Committee. The committee oversees adherence to governance frameworks, bylaws, and other obligations. Additionally, they serve as a valuable resource for governance-related matters, contributing to the healthy development and functioning of the council and its committees. The committee also approves annual award winners.
