Jody joins Rāwhiti School from the University of Canterbury where she is an award winning lecturer in the Faculty of Education. During her time here she has helped to shape and support future educators. In addition, Jody has several governance roles and actively contributes to the national curriculum development, leading several innovations in this space.

Prior to this Jody has worked in primary teaching and held the position of Tumuaki/Principal at Te Kauapapa Whakaora.

Jody is passionate about seeing Rāwhiti flourish and is a deeply invested member of the community, she will bring with her deep insight and understanding of the kura and what is important.
