Sheffield South Island thoroughly enjoyed partnering with Tasman District Council recently in the appointment of Leonie Rae as their new Chief Executive Officer.
Previously working as Chief Operating Officer at the Council since 2021, Leonie has also acted in the role as Chief Executive Officer for a year from March 2022.
Leonie brings invaluable experience from executive roles at Christchurch City Council before, during and after the devastating earthquakes, as well as leading the recovery of that Council’s regulatory building accreditation. She is well known for her experience leading change and bringing teams together with strong leadership.
