About The Role: 

The Management Accountant is a new role:

  • Influence company decisions by providing insightful reports
  • Work directly with the senior leadership
  • Lead the implementation of a new ERP system and extend data capture to include ESG
  • Improve day-to-day accounting services for the Group.
     

Skills & Experience: 

As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in enhancing and preparing management and financial accounting reports for the Group companies.

Tech savvy with a knowledge of systems development and improvement, you will play a key role with the process mapping and implementation of a new ERP system.

You will have a keen eye for detail and robust analytical skills. Collaborative by nature, you will work closely with the Finance Team and easily build solid relationships across the wider group.

Agriculture and its people will be important to you, and you will actively immerse yourself in the business.

In addition, you will have:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Experience and/or understanding of providing financial services within commercial entities with vertically integrated end-to-end business enterprise models
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and New Zealand tax and statutory requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including report writing.
