About the Role: 

Reporting to the Principal and a key member of the senior leadership team, this role will manage digital communications channels and all internal/external communications for College House (CH), coordinate the relationships with Alumni, Philanthropy and is responsible for external conferences and events. You will provide proactive administrative support in areas such as:

  • Leading the social media presence ensuring content management and digital communications are engaging and aligned to brand,
  • Ensuring IT platforms operate efficiently and reliably,
  • Supporting the Principal with general executive support (correspondence, diary management, meeting minutes, preparation of correspondence, briefings, board reports, formal dining and travel logistics),
  • Providing support to manage logistics for all student events e.g. Inductions, Chapel, Guest Speakers and Feast Dinners,
  • Provide support with marketing,
  • Management of the relationship with major donors, alumni community & the annual giving programme,
  • Annual staff, student and parent surveys,
  • Providing strategic project support to the senior team.

 

Skills & Experience: 

Applicants will have experience working as an Executive Assistant, with proven ability managing a busy and diverse workload, together with proficiency in all aspects of MS Office.  Essential to success will be:

  • 5 years + relevant experience as a PA/EA for a Senior Leader,
  • Strong capability in managing social media platforms, creating digital content, and using technology to enhance engagement and communication across multiple audiences,
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and organisational skills,
  • A professional, calm, customer-focused and values-led approach,
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships,
  • Works autonomously, a positive personality, excellent initiative and a sense of humour, 
  • Proficient knowledge of office processes and IT applications/technology use.
  • Prior experience in a student-centred environment may be advantageous but is not essential.
