Working closely with the Group Manager Human Resources, this newly created senior specialist role will work with the organisation and its leaders to enable the People strategy, designing employee experiences that engage people at every stage of their employment life cycle. The immediate focus of this is to identify and shape initiatives that will build high performing teams through inspiring leadership. Other key areas of focus include the engagement survey, embedding the Values through an associated programme of activity, talent management and succession planning, as well as developing a coaching culture.
The successful candidate will be passionate about NZ farmers, positive leadership and building a culture where people want to come to work every day and give their best. Applicants will have a relevant tertiary qualification, with specialist Organisational Development (OD) experience, preferably as part of a large organisation. You will understand conceptual theory and how to apply it practically, possessing a track record of developing and facilitating projects and workshops, creating buy-in and lifting engagement to build capability. As such the role requires strong influencing, coaching, collaboration, change leadership and relationship management skills together with high levels of initiative, innovation, and drive.
The successful candidate will ideally be based at the Christchurch office, however applicants based in Invercargill will also be considered.
