Currently in the process of finalising its strategy, this is an exciting time to assume a leadership role with the firm. The next phase of its evolution will be to consolidate and grow its range of service offerings. To this end, it is seeking a highly competent and energising leader to ensure the success of this next developmental phase of the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role will oversee all operational aspects of the firm, including implementing strategy, driving efficiencies and enabling growth opportunities. Amongst other things, responsibilities include:
- Oversee the execution of comprehensive business operations and strategies;
- Ensure consistent compliance with all relevant professional standards, statutory and contractual obligations;
- Identify efficiencies in systems and processes, particularly around workflow management;
- Manage relationships with suppliers and work to ensure a cost effective and continuous supply of services required by the firm;
- Manage and leverage operational resources (people, funds, physical assets, intellectual property) and enhance the contribution they make to the firm.
Skills and Experience
Preferred candidates will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations;
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of driving the business forward;
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal leadership skills;
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is highly desired, or equivalent experience in a professional services setting;
- High levels of resilience, calmness under pressure and a solutions focus in times of change/transformation;
- Strategic substance, with the ability to problem solve and identify opportunities;
- Experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm would be beneficial but not essential;
- Unrelenting energy and enthusiasm.
