About The Role: 

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Administrator provides day-to-day transactional and administrative support to the finance function, helping maintain accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting bank reconciliations and payroll administration. The role is for 16 to 20 hours a week.

The role also provides administrative support for board pack preparation, tax and compliance filings, and general finance administration, freeing up the Head of Finance’s time for reporting, strategy, and governance work.


The Ideal Person

As the ideal candidate you will be accurate and detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry, reconciliations, and juggling multiple administrative tasks to meet deadlines.

A good communicator, you will enjoy supporting working in a small team with some independence during part-time hours, building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the Theatre.

In addition, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification.
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in an accounts support, bookkeeping, or accounts administration role.
  • A working knowledge of Xero or a comparable accounting system; experience with PayHero or a similar payroll system would be an advantage.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented approach to data entry and reconciliation, with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing demands.
