The Trustees of Akaroa Community Health Trust are seeking expressions of interest from eligible applicants to fill three trustee positions from 1 April 2021 for an initial term of three years.
In accordance with the Trust Deed, on 31 March 2021 two trustees retire by rotation, one of whom is not seeking reappointment and one who is entitled to apply for reappointment. In addition, the trustees have decided to increase the number of trustees by one further appointment, making three positions to be filled.
Akaroa Community Health Trust is the sole shareholder of Akaroa Health Limited, operator of the Akaroa health facility. The Trust acts as reference point for community engagement on Akaroa and Bays health and social related issues.
The successful applicants will have strong associations with Akaroa and Bays communities to enable fair representation and have expertise and skills in at least some of the following attributes, namely clinical, business, governance, community health and social issues.
It is anticipated that interviews of short listed applicants will be conducted in March.
