Spark was focused on a major change as a business to enable a shift in performance. This included not only organisational structural change to reduce the size of the employee base, but also a shift in culture to deliver a proactive and client centric outcome focused approach to driving business performance.
Working with the internal HR team, Sheffield developed and delivered a Management Fundamentals Programme to establish a standard for leadership with a focus on driving performance though effective performance focused conversations and to lift team leadership capability. This three month programme enabled a shift in leadership capacity to focus and drive performance supporting the organisation’s wider transformation programme to a leaner and faster paced company.
Organisational surveys showed a shift in leadership focus and capability with increased clarity of direction and leadership strength. Leadership measurement pre programme and after three months showed a significant lift in capability as rated by their direct reports across the 6 areas targeted by the programme.
